The campus Academic Success Center (ASC) at UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County is designed to support you as reach your academic goals. Both professional and peer tutors can help you understand basic course concepts, proven study methods, and develop skills to succeed in their classes.
The ASC is located in the Umhoefer Building, Room A151, on the lower level and open 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Quiet study spaces open during regular campus hours and tutoring is available on a walk-in or appointment basis. Academic Support Programs offers a comprehensive range of services for UW-Platteville students. We provide tutoring, writing assistance, academic coaching, academic advising, peer workshop instruction, and connections to a variety of resources that support learning. Additionally, many students can take advantage of collaborative learning through their First Year Experience course, resources for transfer students, and the testing center.
Our staff is dedicated to helping students refine and strengthen the academic skills necessary for success in college. We encourage students to take ownership of their college experience and ask for help when they need it!
